Everything in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, sounded so wonderful. Edgar was told about a social difference, real participation of the people, and the transfer of power. He wanted to avoid bureaucracy, to have a grassroots Democracy and to open a lot of hope for people. Watching PBS for at least one hour everyday helped him to understand how not to live as the two notorious capitalists, Mac and Anna, did inside the televised Living Museum.
Edgar felt himself changing every new day he wore the Uniform of the Social Citizen. He wondered if it were the same as a butterfly leaving the cocoon. He could only visualize a moth coming from the same cocoon. Like gypsy moths that take over whole trees. Suffocating trees. Proud of their ability to spread. Beautifully dull colors helping to camouflage there true intentions. Consumption that destroys. A product of nature that will never blame itself. He was becoming a Social Citizen. Whether that was a monster or not, it didnt matter. With the help of his Little Yellow Book, he was physically and mentally being re-educated.
